PULSELINK is a heart-rate alert app for iPhone and Apple Watch, built by Chris in Ontario, Canada, after a long road to his own diagnosis.

About PULSELINK

PULSELINK lets you set a heart-rate rule on Apple Watch, such as above 120 BPM for 60 seconds. When the rule is met, an alert is pending for 15 seconds, and you can tap I'M OK to cancel it. If you don't, the people you chose are notified, and they can tap Check in so you know they've seen it. Location is off by default; if you turn it on, it's shared only during an active alert, only with supporters you allow, and deleted when the alert ends.

PULSELINK is not a medical device and not an emergency service. It doesn't diagnose, treat or monitor any condition; it compares heart rate with the rule the user sets.

The founder

For five years Chris didn't know what was happening to him: zoning out, exhaustion, and moments when he'd be gone for a few minutes, often when excited or stressed. The people around him were frightened. In February 2026 he was diagnosed with severe POTS, and it all made sense. He changed how he lives, and looked for an app that would let the people closest to him know when his heart rate went above a rule he'd set. He couldn't find one that did everything he hoped for, so he built PULSELINK.

"I built the app I couldn't find."— Chris, founder of PULSELINK
"What I wanted was simple: if my heart rate goes above the rule I set, the people closest to me are told."— Chris
